Sport Fishing Is My Passion!

This fisherman uses specially adapted Rod trigger, reel seat, and handle layout, on his custom rods that I built for him.

Fisherman lifts his chinook fromm the net, on the Columbia river.

Spring Chinook and Silver Salmon

Most of the time I fish for the Chinook in the Columbia river. We launch the boat in the early morning usually in the dark. After a run to one of my favorite holes. We will anchor up to fish in what is called a Hog Line. We fish this way when the river current is running fast, and the Chinook schools are on the move up river toward their spawning grounds.

With poles in the boat pole holders we wait for the Nookers to hammer your rod and start peeling off your line.
Oh boy here we go, grab your pole and hang on. Chinook weigh from 20 to 45 pounds.
